Handmade sink vs Machine made sink

There are usually two popular types of sinks in the sanitary equipment market: the Handmade Sink and the drawn sink. Each of them has its unique points.
1.Manufacturing Process
The main differences between these two sinks are their manufacturing process and function.
In terms of production method, the handmade sinks are pressed with hands, and the corners of those sinks are later welded together.
The drawn sink is done by pressing a stainless steel sheet by machine. The machine presses the sheet and gives it a specific shape. There is no need to weld the corners or join them together because of the predetermined shapes that are made through the usage of machines.

2.Material

Two sinks both use the same material--stainless steel. Stainless steel is an excellent option for sinks. This has a more extended durability and stain resistance.

3.Shape

The shape of handmade sinks is usually rectangular or square with four welded corners.
While the shape of the drawn sink is usually an oval shape. The sink has round edges with a larger radius corner area.

4.Maintenance

The handmade sinks provide a lot of depth and extra space for usage, but the bottom of the basin is relatively flat relative to the drawn basin, so it also requires additional cleaning and maintenance. To avoid damage and water spots, we have to clean and wipe the sink basin after every use, might also have to dispose of little debris that remains in the basin.
The drawn sink is steep, and the body is designed in such a way that conveys the water towards the drain, so a sink does not require any extra effort. However, we had better to regularly clean it by swiping the surface. In this way, it will stay intact for a longer period of time and also maintain its shine.

5.Which one is better?

There is no comparison between the two sinks. It all depends on consumer preference. Some people like drawn sinks, others like handmade sinks.
Drawn sinks are usually used in modern spaces and interiors, they are fully adjustable and adapt to different types of kitchen settings. A handmade sink is a more expensive option that adds flavor and elegance to your kitchen.
